     Rachel McAdams graduated from York University in 2001 after completing her 4 year theatre program.  In the same year, she began acting for in the 2001 comedy movie called My Name is Tanino.  In 2004, she played a breakthrough role as Regina George in Mean Girls.  Rachel received several awards for her role and she became an instant fan favorite.  She was the main actress for the highly popular romantic movie, The Notebook.  Rachel has been in other notable movies such as Wedding Crashers, The Time Traveler's Wife, Midnight in Paris, Sherlock Holmes, and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. 


     Rachel McAdams' stardom reach even greater heights after her role in The Notebook.  She was known as the new "Hollywood it Girl" and "The Next Julia Roberts."  She was given high profile roles in blockbuster movies for The Devil Wears Prada, Casino Royale, Mission: Impossible III, and Get Smart but she turned them all down. The fame and attention was proven too much for her and caused her to take a break from the spotlight as she took a few years off. Rachel is a down to earth person who doesn't really care too much about fortune and fame.  She is a prime example of being beautiful inside and out. Rachel will be in two new movies in 2012 called The Vow and Untitled Terrence Malick Project.
