     Whitney Houston is one of the best female singers of all time.  She is on the Guiness World Records as the most awarded female singer with a total of 415 awards.  Her most notable awards were the 30 Billboard Awards, 22 American Music Awards, 6 Grammy Awards, and 2 Emmy Awards.  Whitney's I Will Always Love You has captured her countless awards and was her top selling single. Her other notable singles were Greatest Love of All, Saving All My Love for You, How Will I Know, I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me), Didn't We Almost Have it All, So Emotional, and Where Do Broken Hearts Go.  She debuted in 1985 with her first album called Whitney Houston and her last album came in 2009 and was titled, I Look to You.  She has released a total of seven albums in her career.  Whitney has sold over 55 million albums in the USA and has sold over 200 million singles and albums worldwide.  


     Whitney Houston has an amazing voice and was undoubtedly one of the top artists during the 80s and the 90s.  I Will Always Love You and The Greatest Love of All are timeless classics and will always be one of the greatest hits of all time.  During her early career, Whitney had a good reputation and was seen as a good role model.  That will eventually changed due to her infamous marriage to Bobby Brown and her addiction to alcohol and drugs.  Whitney Houston passed away at the age of 48 on February 11, 2012 in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.  Although she is gone, Whitney's everlasting legacy will always remain with fans from all around the world.
